AIX Voice Assistant Is Here – Answers Every Call, Automatically

Every missed call is a customer who decides not to try again. AIX Voice Assistant is the intelligence already built into SASBOSS, now answering calls before they’re lost.

The problem it solves for your customers

Businesses cannot answer every call, at every hour of the day. Calls that go unanswered outside office hours often slip into voicemail, and most callers will not leave a message, choosing instead to contact a competitor. Those who do get through are frequently met with a traditional phone menu that adds friction before they reach a person.

Even during business hours, many calls are simple queries, such as opening hours or product availability, that do not need a human response, and time spent on them is time not spent on calls that matter. The result is lost business, frustrated callers and an overstretched team.

Where AIX Voice Assistant fits

AIX Voice Assistant closes that gap from inside a platform partners already know. SASBOSS is Access4’s vendor-agnostic platform for partners, bringing quoting, provisioning, billing and management together in one place, removing the need to juggle multiple disconnected systems to complete a single job.
AIX Voice Assistant puts that same platform intelligence to work on the voice channel: provisioned exactly like everything else on SASBOSS, with no new login or separate system to learn, and self-serve setup that gets an agent live for a customer in around five minutes.

What it actually does

AIX Voice Assistant answers calls when a customer’s team is unavailable, at any time of day, holding a natural conversation rather than directing callers through automated menu options. Straightforward queries are resolved immediately, while more complex calls are transferred directly to a person.

Calls are carried on infrastructure Access4 owns and operates in the UK, the same carriage network partners already rely on for every other SASBOSS voice service. The underlying sites support one another, so calls continue to be answered even if one location is affected.

It is also built to behave like a business tool, not a generic chatbot: it stays on topic and in context on every call, sticking to what the business has told it to say.

Already proving itself

In its first month live across Australia and New Zealand, AIX Voice Assistant was provisioned for more than 30 agents, handling over 500 calls across more than 10 hours of conversation, with zero application issues or downtime. The first feature upgrade was already delivered in that same window.

What’s included

  • Customisable voice answering, tuned to reflect the business it represents.
  • Rapid response time, minimising delay between caller and response.
  • Smart routing and transfer across 0800, 0333 and geographic UK numbers, as well as international callers.
  • Post call transcription with sentiment and quality rating, ensuring nothing important is missed.
  • Guardrails that keep every conversation on topic and on brand, so the agent never strays into subjects the business hasn’t authorised.
  • Self-serve setup, with a new agent live for a customer in around five minutes.
  • Fallback redundancy, so calls continue to be answered if an issue occurs on one path.

Security and privacy by design

Many AI tools will wander off topic, speculate, or say something that doesn’t reflect how a business actually operates. We tested this directly, deliberately attempting to push AIX Voice Assistant off script. It has maintained its guardrails on every occasion, never veering off topic or misrepresenting the business it’s answering for.
Each customer’s agent operates in full isolation, with no awareness of other businesses using the same platform and no data shared between customers. Voice is processed by AI models, and some of that processing takes place outside the UK, but no customer data is stored offshore at any point. That keeps privacy and security fully aligned with GDPR, and it matters even more for partners selling into regulated sectors such as healthcare and finance.

Why it’s worth selling

AIX Voice Assistant turns intelligence your SASBOSS platform already runs into a billable line partners can offer today, alongside the UC and CX services already in the portfolio, without adding headcount. It’s priced as a genuine wholesale product, with your margin built in from the start, rather than something you have to mark up from a consumer RRP that your own customers could just as easily buy direct. It also increases customer retention, since once a customer’s calls are managed through it, moving to a different provider becomes a considerably larger decision.

It sits on the same intelligence layer as the rest of the portfolio, so it’s one more reason customers stay, not one more system for your team to support.

“AIX Voice Assistant is the clearest proof yet that the intelligence in SASBOSS is already doing real work for partners. It gives them a genuine new revenue line without adding a single extra system to manage. But the bigger win is for their customers. Every missed call is a missed opportunity, and this closes that gap in a way that sounds like a genuine conversation, rather than a script.”

A business built to help you sell

Once a deal is won, most partners simply set the agent up themselves. Self-serve configuration means a new AIX Voice Assistant agent can be live for a customer in around five minutes, no ticket and no wait. That kind of simplicity is a genuine point of difference against competitors who still need a specialist involved before a customer can go live.

For partners who want extra support, our professional services team is on hand to take over delivery, getting AIX Voice Assistant live for the customer so your team stays focused on the next sale rather than implementation. It’s the same team handling delivery across UC, CX and UX, so support does not fragment across a different specialist for every product.

Academe, our learning platform, gives your team the training to sell and support AIX Voice Assistant with confidence, whether that’s getting the positioning right in a first conversation or understanding how it sits alongside the rest of the SASBOSS portfolio. There’s no need to build that expertise from scratch in house.
