Access4 has been named Event Champions at the Channel Champion Awards 2026, held at Regent’s Park, London on 2 July. The award recognises our SASBOSS UK launch event from 30 September 2025.
This was the day we introduced SASBOSS to the UK channel and made the case for a genuinely vendor-agnostic platform. No lock-in, no compromises.
We were genuinely pleased to be recognised alongside so many other organisations doing great work across the channel.

Why this award means something to us
The Channel Champion Awards are well regarded across the UK channel. And the event champion award celebrates events that are thoughtfully planned, not just well attended. So, being shortlisted felt like a lovely acknowledgement of the effort that went into the day. It was an acknowledgement for the whole team!
Winning was the absolute cherry on top!
For us, it came down to trying to keep partners at the heart of the day. We listened to what they needed and shaped the whole event around that.

A little groundwork before the big day
In the run up to the launch, we sent a branded Digi Van around central London for a few days. This was timed alongside the Comms National Awards and Comms Council UK Awards, which we were pleased to sponsor. The van appeared outside both venues and at a few well known London landmarks, including Big Ben and the London Eye. It was a small, light hearted way to start building some familiarity with SASBOSS ahead of the launch.
The event that won us the award
On 30 September 2025, we welcomed just over 90 attendees, a mix of new faces and existing partners, to Portal Golf & Spa Resort in Cheshire. The day included a launch presentation, some independent industry perspective from Matt Townend at Cavell, a round of golf, and dinner together in the evening. We were grateful to have Smarsh, CC4Teams, Netsapiens and Snom on board as sponsors, and our UK team were on hand throughout so partners could ask questions and get straightforward answers.
What partners took from the event
More than anything, we hoped attendees would leave with a clearer sense of how SASBOSS works as a vendor-agnostic platform, helping simplify things like quoting and billing without tying anyone into a single vendor.
For Jonathan Walker, CEO UK and Ireland at Access4, the win says less about the trophy itself and more about what partners left with after our event:

“Winning Event Champions means a great deal because it recognises what our partners got out of our launch event. Partners left with a clear understanding of SASBOSS and what it means to operate a vendor-agnostic platform, and a real pipeline of opportunity for their business. That is what a partner event should be about, and it is what we set out to deliver.”
Looking Ahead
This award reflects something we care about a great deal: trying to support the channel in a genuinely useful way, whether that’s helping established voice providers move into UCaaS and CCaaS, or helping newer entrants find their feet. There’s always more to learn, and we’re grateful for the trust our partners continue to place in us.
