As an Onboarding Manager, Nathalie plays a key role in helping new partners get started with Access4 and ensuring they have the support, guidance and resources needed from day one. With a focus on building strong relationships and creating a smooth onboarding experience, Nathalie helps set partners up for success as they begin their journey with us.

We caught up with Nathalie to learn more about her role, her approach to supporting partners and a few fun facts along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. What’s a skill you have that has nothing to do with your job? <\/strong>
A. Playing Poker or Swimming really fast

A. I have an equestrian clothing brand.

Inside the Mind of the Onboarding Manager:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Q. Can you tell us a bit more about your role?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A. As the UK & Ireland Onboarding Manager at Access4, my role is to ensure every new partner has the knowledge, confidence and support they need to become successful from the very beginning of their journey with us. 

I\u2019m with them from the start from sending the partnership agreement and them becoming a fully enabled partner, guiding them through every stage of the onboarding process. This includes hosting kick-off meetings, delivering technical and sales enablement training, introducing partners to our platforms, by setting up their reseller accounts and logins. Ensuring they understand how to position, sell and support our solutions.

I also work closely with internal teams to ensure onboarding is smooth, consistent and tailored to each partner’s needs. My goal is to make every partner feel supported and set them up for long-term success.

Q. How do you help a partner get properly set up and confident during onboarding? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A. I believe confidence comes from understanding, so I focus on making onboarding as practical, engaging and personalised as possible. It starts with a kick-off call where we get to know the partner, understand their goals and explain what they can expect from the onboarding journey. 

From there, I deliver structured training sessions that combine demonstrations, real-world scenarios and interactive activities to help partners build confidence with our products and platforms. I encourage questions throughout and make sure partners know there are no “silly questions”.

Everyone learns differently, so I adapt my approach depending on their technical knowledge and experience. By the end of onboarding, I want partners to feel comfortable navigating our systems, understand where to find support and resources, and have the confidence to start working with customers.

Q. What extra support do you offer partners to help them succeed? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A. Onboarding doesn’t stop once the training sessions are over. For example, I make sure partners know they can continue to reach out whenever they need guidance or reassurance. But, I also make them aware they have an account manager to reach out to. This is so we have a seamless handover into the Channel team.

I provide additional one-to-one support where needed. I recommend further training and make sure to share helpful resources and documentation. Also, I work closely with our Partner Success Managers to ensure each partner continues to receive the right support. I’ve also developed new interactive sales enablement content to deliver. Such as, practical training sessions to make learning more engaging and to help partners retain information.

My aim is to give partners not only the technical knowledge they need but also the confidence to have meaningful conversations with customers and identify new opportunities.

Q. What does a truly great partner onboarding experience look like, from your perspective? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A. For me, a great onboarding experience is one where a partner feels welcomed, supported and confident every step of the way. It should be clear, well organised and tailored to the individual partner rather than feeling like a generic process. 

A successful onboarding journey means partners know exactly who to contact, understand the products and systems, and feel equipped to start selling and supporting solutions with confidence. It should be engaging, collaborative and leave partners excited about the opportunities ahead. 

Ultimately, the best measure of success is when a partner finishes onboarding feeling empowered rather than overwhelmed. If they come away thinking, “I know what I’m doing, I know where to go for help, and I’m excited to grow with Access4,” then I’ve achieved exactly what I set out to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
